The upper of this Rocky S2V men’s Hiker has the ideal blend of durability and comfort. It has been made with a combination of hardy yet soft Nubuck leather and terrifically hard-wearing Ripstop nylon (highly resistant to tearing). Polyurethane has been wrapped around the toe and is positioned on the back to protect this outdoor footwear against abrasions. The lace-up design is a great feature; it allows you to adjust the boot’s fit and it has been made with 550 cord laces (will not break, incredibly strong). For additional comfort, there is an extremely soft foam collar and a fully-gusseted tongue.
To ensure complete dryness protection, the interior of this footwear has been made with a moisture-wicking lining and Hydro IQ (waterproof/air circulation) technology. In different sections of the Hiker, there is Aerotherm® Aerogel insulation and PrimaLoft® insulation; both insulations are unbelievably lightweight and they will keep your feet extremely warm. The antimicrobial insole has been made in a bright, fuchsia color; not only will it suppress odors and cushion your feet, but its hue can also be used to signal for help. If you would lift the insole up, you would be able to see the UST essentials that have been placed underneath; each Hiker is outfitted with a firesparker and wetcubes, which are extremely beneficial to have if you would get stranded or find yourself in a dangerous situation because they will help you start a fire.
